Hungarian Beef Goulash

Ingredients
1 lb Lean Stew Meat5 medium potatoes, diced5 medium carrots cut up2 whole onions, diced 1 tbs. shortenting1/2 c. white flour1 tbs. salt3 tbs. Paprika1 tbs caraway seed, ground1 tbs black pepper, ground water.
Directions
In dutch oven combine shortening and stew meat, cook until browned add flour and stir until combined and meat is covered. Add to crock pot. Add rest of ingredients to crock pot and cook for 6 to 8 hours on medium heat. Serves 8 approximately 1 c. servings.
