Italian Chicken and Egg Noodles

1 lb. Chicken tenders 1/2 tsp. olive oil1/2 medium onion, diced1 tsp dried Italian seasoning1 clove garlic, minced1/2 c. white wine1 can (14.5 oz) Italian Style diced tomatoes1 can (14.5 oz) fat free chicken broth1/2 c. water8 oz. egg noodlessalt (optional) to taste
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on med high heat. Add chopped onions, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Add chicken and cook until chicken is tender and brown. Add wine and cook for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, chicken broth, and water. Stir in noodles and salt (if desired). Cover and reduce heat to simmer. Cook until noodles and chicken are tender, about 30 minutes. Stir occassionally.
Serves 6 and goes well with salad.
