Northern Bean and bacon soup

Ingredients
12oz of applewood smoked baconLeft over chicken (1 large breast, 1 thigh & 1 leg)1/2 bell cooked pepper - chopped1 medium yellow onion - chopped1 can of chicken broth16 oz package of dry Northern Beans
Directions
Chop and cook bacon in skillet and set aside.
In crock pot, combine all other ingredients with 32oz of water. Add salt and pepper to taste and set crock pot to medium setting. Slow cook for 2 hours. Add bacon and lower crock pot setting to low and cook for an additional 2 hours.
