Tadka: 1 tsp channa dal1 tsp urad dal3 tsp mustard seeds1 tsp turmeric2 tbsp oil1.5 large onions4 potatoes.5 cups of besan (gram flour)a few curry leaves4 hot peppers
try using a pressure cooker, its a lot faster! you can still make it even if you don't have one!!
- heat oil
- add tadka (channa dal, urad dal, and mustard seeds)
- once the mustard seeds starts spluttering, add the onions, turmeric, curry leaves, peppers, and salt!
- once the onions start turning clear, add potatoes!
- At this point, if you have a pressure cooker close the lid and turn off after two pressures.
- If you don't have a pressure cooker, put a lid on and cook on medium heat until the potatoes are cooked through!!! This might take a while!!!
- Finally, once the potatoes are cooked, add the gram flour and cook for another 10-15 minutes!!!
- Enjoy!
