Sweet and Savory Roasted Almonds with a Little Spice

Ingredients
2 cups whole almonds2 tbsp water1 tbsp splenda brown sugar1 tsp ground cinnamon1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Spread on a baking sheet and place in oven for 10 minutes. Wait until cool, separate into 8 individual bags (1/4 cup each) and store for a great snack all week long.

*Don't want the heat? Just take out the cayenne pepper :)

**Want a little something more? Add raisins after the almonds are done cooling. (these are not added in the nutrition info)

    This is a great easy recipe that is not a diet disaster. I had some natural blanched almonds we didn't care for but this recipe made them so delish, we couldn't keep our hands off 'em! I only added a drizzle of honey & a pinch of salt. Makes you feel like you're cheating. 😍😍 - 5/30/16
