Turkey & Black Bean Chili

Ingredients
1.25 lbs ground turkey, lean1 can Black Beans, drained & rinsed1 can Red Kidney Beans, drained & rinsed1 14.5 oz can of tomato sauce (no salt added)1 6 oz can of tomato paste (no salt added)4 gloves garlic, chopped1 onion, medium, chopped1 red bell pepper, chopped1 green bell pepper, chopped1 large red tomatoes, chopped1 large yellow tomato, chopped4 red or green jalepenos, deveined, deseeded, and chopped3 TB ground cumin2 TB chili powder1 TB black pepper1 TB salt (or to taste)
Directions
Pour olive oil in skillet with 1 clove garlic and cook turkey on medium until browned.

In large stew pot, add all remaining ingredients and cover with water. Note: You can add more peppers, and add serrano peppers, if you desire a spicier chili.

Bring to a boil, then simmer loosely covered, stirring occassionally. Simmer 1-2 hrs. The longer you simmer, the more flavor the chili will have.

Makes approx. 12 - 1 cup servings. If you like, garnish with low fat shredded cheese, lite sour cream, or any of your favorite toppings.
