Ingredients
Directions
2 lbs lean ground beef3 16 oz cans pinto beans1 16 oz can tomatoes, broken up1 12 oz can tomato paste1 medium onion, chopped1 large bell pepper, chopped4 cups water2 pkgs McCormick Chili Seasoning
Brown ground beef and drain fat. Pour into crock pot and add remaining ingredients.
Stir and cook on high 3-4 hours, or low 6-8 hours.
I use pinto beans just because I prefer them over kidney beans. Not sure what the difference is in nutritional value (if any) if you were to substitute kidney for pintos. Just depends on your which you prefer.
