Mal's Crock Pot Black beans

Ingredients
1 lb dried black beans1 poblano Pepper, chopped1 sweet onion, chopped1 red pepper, chopped2 tbs cumin3-4 cups of water (basically enough water to cover the beans... and your tastes as to how "soupy" you like your beans)
Directions
Combine all ingredients in crock pot.
Leave alone -til beans are tender

14- 16 hours on low (depending on how old the beans are)
8 - 10 hours on high depending on how old the beans are)

Serve with a dollop of lite sour cream and 2 tbs of salsa -as spicy as you like

It's also quite tasty served over rice....
