Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

1 lb of lean ground beef2.5 Schneider's Oktoberfest Sausage1 onion2 large cans of Heinz Tomato Juice2 cans of Tomato Paste1 large can of diced tomatoes basilsalt & pepper to tastedried/fresh parsley
Chop up Onion and brown with ground beef in large pan. Remove skin from Oktoberfest sausage and add to ground beef mixing well.
Add tomato juice, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, spices and simmer for at least 4 hours. Skim any fat that is on the top of the sauce either by spoon or paper towel.
We freeze 2 servings in a margarine container which is plenty of sauce for the 2 of us. Yields approximately 7 margarine containers.
