1/2 cup butter3/4 cup sugar2 Tablespoons low fat yogurt (plain)1 1/2 cups flour1 teaspoon baking soda1 teaspoon ground cinnamon1 teaspoon nutmeg2 1/2 cups walnuts
Makes 10 servings
Cream butter and sugar; beat in egg, and beat in yogurt. Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir into creamed mixture. Stir in apple. Turn into ungreased 9.5x9.5x2 inch round. baking pan. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes or until cake tests done.
