Easy Crockpot Chicken

1 can cream of mushroom soup1 bag of skinless split chicken breasts; about 6-9 servings1 can of mushrooms; drained1 envelope of dry onion soup mix1 medium onion, chopped
In crock pot, mix the can of soup and the soup mix, add in mushrooms, onions, and about a cup of water. Once smooth add chicken breasts, turning to be sure they are coated in the mixture. Cover and cook in the crock pot for 6 to 8 hours on low heat.
Serve with rice or veggies, for a well rounded meal.
* This recipe can easily be adapted to the oven. Mix in a dutch oven and cook at 250 degrees for six hours. When doing this, you may want to add more water or chicken broth.
