chow chow sambhar

Ingredients
Tamarinds, .25 cup, pulp (remove)Water, tap, 1.5 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)*Raw Toor dal - 0.5 cup, 3 serving (remove)*chayote squash, 1 cup (remove)*chayote squash, 1 cup (remove)sambhar powdersalt
Directions
boil the chow chow in water till tender, add the tamarind pulp, salt and sambhar powder and cook for 7 minutes, then add the boiled daal.
season with mustard if needed.
