Oatmeal Applesauce Cake

Ingredients
3/4 steel cut oats1 cup 1% milkCombine and let soak while preparing the remainder of the cake.Combine in a large bowl:2 eggs3/4 unsweetened a pplesauce1/4 cup canola oil1 tablespoon vanilla extractAdd, mixing well,1-1/2 cup all purpose flour1/2 tsp salt1 tablespoon baking powderAdd oats and milk mixture. Beat on medium for approximately two minutes.Pour into greased/floured 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
