2.5 lbs. Lean ground beef1 Large onion diced3 Cloves garlic2 large cans of Tomato Juice2 12oz. cans Tomato Paste1 tbs dried Oregano1 tbs dried Basil3 Bay leaves0.5 tsp salt0.5 tsp black pepperWhole Wheat Speghetti
Brown beef in a dutch oven with the diced onion. Add tomato juice, tomato paste, and spices. Bring to a boil and then simmer on low for 3-4 hours.
Makes about 12 3/4 cup servings.
Serve over whole wheat spaghetti.(included in nutritional calculations)
