Ingredients
Grape jelly, chili sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, previously prepared (cooked) meatballs, frozen or thawed. (Jellied cranberry from a can can be used in place of the jelly; also can use catsup instead of chili sauce.) If you make your own meatballs, use ground turkey and cooked rice to cut calories and extend the meatballs.
Directions
Combine grape jelly with chili sauce in saucepan over medium heat and mix until smooth, adding lemon juice and brown sugar last. Place meatballs into crock pot and cover with sauce. Heat on High for 1 hour then reduce to low and let simmer for 5 to 6 hours. Perfect as appetizers alone. Also good served over rice or noodles. Will serve 15 - 20 people if using the frozen ones with 6 - 1 1/4" meatballs per serving. Can add a bit of water to cover more meatballs if making for a larger group.

how much of each ingredient? Trying this for the first time going to put in equal parts of chili sauce and jelly and to taste with the brown sugar and lemon juice. Adding the measurements to the recipe would have been helpful - 7/7/14
