Stuffed peppers

Ingredients
1lb lean ground beef2c cooked white rice1 onion finely chopped1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed1/2c grated parmesan cheese4tbsp tomato paste6 cloves garlic, minced2tsp italian seasoning6 bell peppers1c tomato sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 350*F. In a large bowl, combine the beef, rice, onion, peas, cheese, tomato paste, garlic, italian seasoning. Loosely stuff the peppers with the mixture; stand them in a baking dish or casserole. Pour tomato sauce over peppers; add enough water so that the liquid comes about 1/4 up the sides of the peppers. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, basting with juices. Uncover and bake 20 minutes more. Let stand 5 minutes.
