Loaded Potato and Turnip Soup

2 t. olive oil2/3 cup chopped onion1 1/4 chicken broth2 cups 1% milk1/4 lowfat sour cream1/4 t. salt1/4 t. pepper1 1/2 cups mashed potatoes1 1/2 cups mashed turnips4 slices cooked, crumbled bacon
Heat oil in saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add onion; cook 3 minutes. Add broth.
In small bowl, blend flour and 1/2 cup milk.
Add to pan, along with remaining milk.
Bring to a boil, stirring often. Cook 1 minute.
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, salt and pepper.
Blend mashed potatoes and turnips into soup mixture and heat through. Top with bacon.
