Healthy and Tasty Pasta/Pizza Sauce

Ingredients
1 cup chopped bell pepper1 cup chopped onion2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes3 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce1 can sliced mushrooms1/4 cup brown sugar1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning2 cloves garlic
Directions
Saute onion and bell pepper in olive oil for 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and garlic. Add diced tomatoes. Transfer to food processor and puree until smooth. Put mixture back into pot and add tomato sauce, brown sugar, and 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning. Cook about 20 minutes or until heated thoroughly. Pour over pasta or can be used as pizza sauce.
