Vegan Braised Savoy Cabbage

Ingredients
1 head of Savoy Cabbage1 Medium Onion1 tsp Salt1/2 tsp pepper1 tbsp Low Fat Vegan Margarine (SmartBalance Light)1 tbsp Vegan Bacon Bits
Directions
1. Peef off each leaf of Cabbage & remove core.

2. Boil water in a pot, add leaves & salt

3. Blanch for 1 minute, then remove from heat until cooled. Then drain the leaves well.

4. Chop onion, add to a pan with 1 tbsp butter, then add the bacon bits, cook for a few minutes until onions start to soften

5. Chop up the Cabbage Leaves, about 8 pieces per leaf, and add the pan

6. cook for about 8 minutes, or until all the moisture evaporates.
