Cream and Parmesan Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
8 oz double cream2 egg yolks, beaten2 oz freshly grated parmesan1 lb pastasalt and pepperadditional freshly grated parmesan to serve
Directions
Mix cream, egg yolks and parmesan in a bowl until combined. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water and drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water. Return pasta to the warm pasta pot. Add cream mixture and toss well to coat, adding reserved water as needed, salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately with additional parmesan
