Ham Balls
- Number of Servings: 18
Ingredients
Directions
2.5 pounds ground smoked ham2 pounds ground lean pork1 pound ground lean beef3 ggs2 cups milk3 cups graham crackers (crushed)Sauce:2 tsp dry mustard24-oz tomato sauce3/4 cup vinegar1/2 cup brown sugar1 cup brown sugar substitute
Mix meat, eggs, milk and graham crackers together and form into 18 balls.
Place balls on a jellyroll pan.
Combine sauce ingredients.
Pour sauce over ham balls.
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Turn and baste half way through baking.
The nutritional value is based on using sugar substitute. The original recipe calls for 2.5cups brown sugar (which is so much better!). But my husband is diabetic so I use sugar substitute.
