3 c rolled oats1 1/4 c whole wheat flour1/3 c packed brown sugar1/2 c sliced almonds1/2 c chopped walnuts1/2 c dry nonfat milk powder1/4 c flaxseeds1/4 c grape nuts cereal1 1/2 tsp cinammon3/4 tsp salt1/6 c vegetable/canola oil1/6 c unsweetened applesauce1/2 c water1/4 c honey1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract1 1/2 tsp maple extractoptional: 1 c dried cranberries (not calculated in nutritional info)
Preheat oven to 300 F. Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Combine dry and wet together until all coated. Spray cooking spray in 13x9x2. Put granola mixture into pan. Bake for about 45-60 min, stirring frequently, until granola is golden and becomes drier (will get crunchy after you take out of the oven). Can stir in optional cranberries at last 10-15 min of baking. Cool completely. Store in airtight container at room temp. Serving Size 1/4 cup is filling.
Serving Size: Makes 4 cups. Can be doubled.
