Rigatoni with Fresh Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
3 cups short cut tube pasta, like penne or rigatoni3 tbsp olive oil2 cloves garlic, sliced1 1/2 tsp dried Italian herbs2 pints cherry tomatoes3/4 to 1 tsp saltblack pepper, to taste1 small handful fresh basil1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions
cook pasta

meanwhile, heat oil in pan and add garlic and italian herbs. cook until garlic is soft and then add tomatoes. cook until tomatoes burst, then add salt and cook until a thick sauce forms. season with black pepper and add vinegar and red pepper flakes. add cooked pasta and basil. remove from heat and serve.
