Ingredients
1 lemon1 medium onion1/2 cup dry white wine1 tsp. black pepper1 tsp. salt1 tsp. garlic powder4 tilapia fillets
Directions
Makes four servings.
- I doubt anyone will even see, as it is just for me to remember it. But, basically, cut lemon and onion into slices. In a bowl, add the slices, white wine, pepper, salt, and garlic. Let the tilapia fillets marinade in the mixture from anywhere between 20-50 minutes. Pour mixture into pan and place fillets in. Cook on medium-high heat for about five to six minutes on each side, or until fish becomes flaky and opague. There you go!

Mediocre. It was edible but not a great flavor, especially concerning the white wine. - 7/10/17

This has become one of my regular "go-to" recipes. My adjustments: I throw in just a pinch of salt instead of a tsp (I'm not a big salt eater.) I double the garlic (I LOVE LOVE LOVE garlic.) I also use jarred lemon juice out of laziness. I love this recipe! - 10/5/13

It was delicious. I usually bread and bake/pan fry. But, now my family can enjoy Tilapia another way. Thx for sharing! - 11/30/10

Very Good Talapia Recipe...Only made one variation, 1 tablesppoon of capers, adds just a little zing and goes oh so well with the white wine, without adding calories or fat.. Thanks! - 2/7/09
