2 C. Cheddar Cheese, Shredded 2 C. Evaporated Milk 1/4 C. Butter1/4 t. Pepper1/4 t. Salt 2 C. Potatoes, chopped1 C. each chopped celery, carrots, and onions2 C. Water1/4 C. Flour
Add vegetables to boiling water, let simmer til tender. Meanwhile in small saucepan melt butter. Gradually add flour and whisk until smooth. Slowly add milk constantly stirring until thick. Add cheddar cheese cook until melted. Combine with vegetables ( do not drain!). Cook until heated through, appox. 10 min.
