Chicken Corn Casserole

Ingredients
1/3 c. butter1/3 c. flour1/2 t. salt1/4 t. pepper1/2 t. celery salt2 c. milk2 c. cooked chicken, chopped1 can creamed corn1/4 c. cracker crumbs1 T. butter
Directions
Melt butter over low heat. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and celery salt. Cook till smooth and bubbly. Add milk and bring to a boil stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add chicken and corn. Pour into 2 qt. casserole. Melt butter and add cracker crumbs. Put on top of casserole. Bake at 350 for 25-30 min.

    I used fresh corn but it still turned out well. I had to broil for a couple minutes to get a crunchy topping but was very pleased with the end result. I'll be putting it in my recipe box to make again. The whole family enjoyed it even my husband commented on how good it was. - 7/6/08
