Fried Cabbage

Ingredients
1 small head of cabbage, thinly sliced1 onion, chopped1 jalapeno pepper, chopped1/4 cup cornbread mix1/4 tsp cayenne pepper4 slices baconsalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Cook bacon in large frypan, once crispy, remove, drain and crumble. Set aside. Remove some of the grease, leaving just enough to saute onions and jalapeno until tender. Combine cornbread mix and cayenne, toss with cabbage till mixed. Stir in with onion and jalapeno. Cook about 15 minutes until cabbage is tender. Top with crumbled bacon. Serve warm.
