Dutch Oven Chili

3 lb ground beef2 cans kidney beans, drained2 lg onions3 cups tomato purée1 cup diced tomatoes1 6oz can tomato paste4 cups beef broth4 cloves garlic, minced2 tbsp chili powder1 tbsp ground cumin (or dhanajiru)1 tbsp honey
Preheat oven to 350°.
Peel and chop the onions and mince the garlic, then sauté with a little oil in a dutch oven until golden brown.
Scoop onions out onto a plate and brown the ground beef, a pound at a time, adding a little more oil as necessary. Return the onions to the pot and give it a stir.
Add everything but the beans, mix thoroughly and bring to a simmer. Then add the beans and stir in.
Cover the dutch oven and place in preheated oven. Cook two hours.
Serving Size: Makes about 24 1-cup servings
