Our Best Bites Sweet & Sour Meatballs

Meatballs:1 pound extra lean ground beef (96% lean)2 T dehydrated onion1/4 t pepper1 t kosher salt1 egg, beaten1/4 c bread crumbsSauce:3/4 cup packed brown sugar3 T flour1.5 cups pineapple juice1/4 cup white vinegar3 T soy sauce
In a medium bowl combine meatball ingredients. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with foil. Place under broiler for 5-7 minutes or until the meatballs begin to brown.
In a large saucepan, whisk together sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Add the meatballs and reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often.
