Stovetop Maple Baked Beans

Ingredients
2 slices bacon (such as uncured apple smoked)1 shallot (or onion would work well)1/2 pkg frozen red, yellow and green pepper strips (such as Trader Joes)1 small can (8 oz) tomato sauce1 can cannellini beans1 TBSP dijon mustard1 TBSP real maple syrup1 tsp bbq seasoning.
Directions
Chop and cook the bacon, drain the grease. Add the shallots, garlic, and peppers and cooked for about 5 minutes. Add the rest of the ingrediants and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
