Turmeric rice and beans

Ingredients
1/2 cup pinto beans, cooked1/2 cup long grained brown rice, cooked1/2 tbsp garlic powderFresh ground black pepper1/2 tsp dried sweet basil, crushed1 to 2 tsp white wine vinegar1 tsp turmeric
Directions
Heat pan at medium heat add beans and rice.

Note: I don't bother draining the beans as they are home made and have no salt added and the fluid cooks off.

Add the garlic powder, pepper and basil. When heated through add in the white wine vinegar and turmeric, stir to combine and serve.

Note: Add in more or less vinegar to taste.
