Ingredients
1 Cup uncooked brown rice1 pound ground turkey1 onion, chopped1 green pepper, chopped1 can diced tomatoes, no salt addedGround pepper to tasteGarlic Powder to tasteBasil to taste
Directions
Cook brown rice and set aside. Cook chopped onions and peppers in pan with water until soft. Add spices to this mixture. When onions are soft add ground turkey and cook through. Add additional spices if needed. Drain meat. Mix rice and diced tomatoes into meat mixture. Heat through and serve.
