*Basmati White Rice (1 Cup cooked), 5 cup (remove)*Canola Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Red Ripe Tomatoes, 4 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) (remove)*Hot Chili Peppers, 5 pepper (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)*Chana Dal, 0.1 cup (remove)*Urad Dal, 0.1 cup (remove)Raw peanuts - 1 cup, 0.2 serving (remove)Mustard seed, yellow, 1 tsp (remove)*Cumin seed, 1 tsp (remove)Ginger Root, 2 tsp (remove)
Heat oil. Add mustard and cumin seeds. When they start to splutter add the chana dal and urad dal and fry until light brown. Then add green chillies, minced ginger, peanuts and chopped onion. Saute until pink. Add chopped tomatoes, salt and cook until well done and no longer watery. Turn off heat and mix in the cooked cooled rice. Garnish with cilantro.
