1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour, buckwheat flour, or quick cooking oats (or combine the 3)3 tsp baking powder1 cup skim milk3 tbsp canola oil2 tbsp honey or black strap molasses1 egg 2 tbsp ground flaxseeds
In a large bowl combine flour and baking powder.Mix well with a wisk or fork. In another bowl mix egg, milk, oil and molasses. Mix well. Combine ingredients in both bowls.I used a 1/3 measuring cup to make 6-6' pancakes.Scoop into nonstick pan on medium heat. Brown both sides. When using molasses, browns quicker , so keep an eye on them. You can freeze them too !! Just make sure they are separated, so they won't stick together. You can just pop em' in the toaster .Enjoy!!
