Deep Covered Baker Microwave Pita Sandwich

Chicken breastWhole Wheat PitasRed Bell PepperSalt - to taste Pepper - to tasteRecipe callse for Asian Seasoning by Pampered Chef. I used Mediterranean Herb (McCormick) to tasteTeryaki Sauce (.5 C)Corn Starch (1 TBS)Cheese (I used swiss, but the original recipe calls for provolone)
Chop and place bell peppers in bottom of DCB. Some also like to add a yellow onion. Lay chicken on top and season with salt, pepper, and seasoning mix. Cook for 12-14 minutes, until chicken is done.
Mix corn starch and terryaki sauce with wisk. Drain chicken when done and add sauce over it. Heat for another 2 minutes.
Place sliced cheese in pita and then hot chicken mixture. Serve immediately.
Serving Size: Makes 6 full pitas
