1 block extra firm tofu, sliced1/4 cup hoison sauce1/4 cup mirin2 tbsp rice wine vinegar (low sodium lo sugar)2 tbsp olive oil (or sesame or peanut oil if you have it)1 tsp chopped garlic1 tsp grated ginger if desiredsesame seeds, for garnish if desired
Press tofu between two paper towels and two plates to fully drain of juice. combine all ingredients except tofu. stir until well mixed. slice tofu thinly (about 1/2 cm thick) and place in marinade overnight.Preheat oven to 400F. Place tofu in baking dish. Try not to let the tofu overlap too much. Pour remaining marinade over tofu. Bake at 400F for 30 minutes
