Ingredients
3 Medium Eggs2 Cups (single or double) Cream1/4 Cup Granulated Sweetener (Tescos)2 tsp Vanilla Essence1/2 tsp saltGround Nutmeg and Cinnamon to taste (or sprinkle on top of individual custards)
Directions
Simple -
Mix all ingredients together, making sure eggs are well beaten.
Pour into individual microwavable containers (sprinkle nutmeg and/or cinnamon on top to taste)
Microwave in 750watt microwave for about 1 min or until set.

They can also be poured into individual portions and cooked in the oven in ramekins to give a different consistency. Haven't tried this yet as I can't wait long enough for my 'sweet treat'!

Mixture can be kept in the fridge and poured out and microwaved as and when needed.

I LOVE this custard. It is such a help with my Low Carb life. I make it with whipping cream and bake it. I am just preparing to make it as needed, like it says in the recipe.
It is a dessert, a treat, and breakfast. <3

This is a good recipe to tweak. Everyone's microwave wattage will differ, so you have to adjust accordingly. Additionally, I don't do artificial sweeteners, so I altered it a bit there. This dessert gave me an excellent place to come up with something fast. Great w raspberries & blueberries. - 11/7/13
