Banana Berry Coffee Smoothie

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (about 1 oz.)1 small banana, sliced and frozen1/3 c. blackberries(frozen)1 1/2 c. fresh baby spinach1 packet Starbucks Via (or 1 tsp. of any instant coffee granules)1 packet Splenda1/4 c. Silk Light Original Soy milk3/4 c. cold water5-6 ice cubes
Add ingredients in this order:
Water, soy milk, protein powder, Via, Splenda, spinach, banana, blackberries, ice cubes.
Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop once to scrape down the spinach from the sides of the blender. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!!
Serving Size: makes 1 24 oz. smoothie

This looks very good and I'm going to try it. One question though. In the nutrition info box it mentions the amount of cholesterol. As everything appears to be of vegetable origin, there shouldn't be any cholesterol as it only comes from animal flesh, animal milk, or eggs. Is it the protein powder? - 7/29/13

Yes, it is from the protein powder. I uses Body Fortress vanilla. You could easily swap it for a vegan or soy option!! Hope you enjoy!!
