Moni-Jo's Baked BBQ chicken

6 pieces chicken leg quarters (I used this for my recipe because it is often on sale at my grocery store) Of course you could use chicken breast. 6T KC masterpiece smokey bourboun barbecue sauce. You could use whatever you have handy or your favorite brand.saltpeppergarlic powdercayenne pepper (if you don't like spicy, substitute paprika or ancho chili powder)
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees f
Rinse chicken and pat dry, sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne.
Place seasoned chicken onto a foiled lined baking sheet.
Put chicken into pre-heated oven for 20 minutes.
Remove chicken from oven and brush each piece of chicken with 1T of bbq sauce.
Put back into oven for remaining 10 minutes.
If you don't have an instant read thermometer to verify doneness, you can poke the chicken thigh with a knife. If juices run clear, chicken is done.
Serving Size: Makes 6 full leg qtr svgs or 12 if leg/thigh separated
