Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
1 small sweet onion1/2 c celery, diced16 oz vegetable juice (V8)1 can diced tomatoes, no salt, 14.5 oz undrained12 oz tomato paste, no salt32 oz tomato sauce, no salt2 tsp artificial sweetener1 tsp salt1 tsp chili powder1 tsp dried oregano1 tsp dried basil1 tsp onion powder1 tsp dried Italian seasoning1/4 tsp ground black pepper4 bay leaves
Directions
Saute onions and celery in water until soft. Combine all ingredients in a 5-quart slow cooker. Heat on low for 5-6 hours until heated through. Discard bay leaves and serve over whole-wheat pasta or spaghetti sauce.
