2 cups dry quinoa4 tsp. taco seasoning2 tsp. chopped onion4 cups waterOptional: corn, black beans, green or red peppers
The fastest way to prepare this dish is to put all of the ingredients in a rice cooker, stir so that the seasonings mix in, and let the cooker do all the work for you!
It will work just as well if you prepare the quinoa however you prefer - just stir in the seasoning and onion. You may want to saute the onions prior to adding to the quinoa.
Feel free to add additional goodies such as corn, black beans, green peppers, red peppers, or whatever suits you! The additional vegetables were not included in the nutrition facts.
