Ingredients
.25 Cup Millet.15 Cup Buckwheat.1 Cup Wild Rice Blend.15 Cup TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein).15 Cup Kamut or large wheat berries.2 Cup Rolled Rye or Oats=1 Cup of dry mixed grains (play with it....i fill a measuring cup with a little of this and a little of that until its full) Quinoa, Barley and Nuts are great in the blend, too! Cooks like rice = 1 part grains : 2 parts liquid 2 Cups Veggie Broth1 Cup Mushrooms - chopped into little cubes (Fresh or Dried..if dried, add to grains and they will rehydrate in the rice cooker).5 Cup Carrots - chopped into tiny little pieces1 medium Onion - diced.5 Cup BBQ Sauce3 Tbsp (or to taste) Cajun Spice, Italian Spice, salsa or meat Rub1 Block Tofu - Firm or Extra Firm3 eggs
Directions
Mix Grains, Carrots, Mushrooms and Onions with veggie broth and soak overnight in the fridge. This speeds up the cooking time to aprox. 20 minutes (the same as white rice). Grains can be left soaking in the fridge for up to 3 or 4 days.

Cook soaked grains and veggies in a rice cooker on 'white rice' setting or on the stove top the way you cook white rice.

Remove from heat and place contents in a large mixing bowl
Add BBQ sauce and mix
Crumble tofu and mix
Add spices to taste
Add eggs and mix thoroughly. I use my hands like I'm working dough.

Form mix into patties and cook!
Patties can be fried (5 minutes each side on med or until brown) or baked in the oven (375 for 10 minutes, flip then cook 10 more minutes)

The patties are a little crumbly, so handle with care!... baking instead of frying seems to hold them together a bit better. If anyone has any ideas on improving consistency/structural integrity, please let me know!

Serving Size: makes 20 to 24 patties 3inch wide
