Nana's Chow Chow

Ingredients
Cucumber (with peel), 5 cucumber (8-1/4" or 10 small)Onions, raw, 1.5 large (sliced)*1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, 1.5 Tbsp*Ground tumeric, 1 tsp*Distilled Vinegar, 1. cup Granulated Sugar, 1 cup *Splenda no calorie sweetner, 1 cup
Directions
Slice cucumbers and place in bowl. Salt and cover soaking for two hours then drain.

Make sauce: Mustard, tumeric, vinegar,sugar, and splenda mixed together. Pour over veggies and bring to a boil over medium heat for about a 1/2 hour (to desired thickening of sauce)

Place in sterile jars, and hot water seal for ten minutes.
