Marti's Cabbage and Turnip Soup

1 64 oz and 1 48 oz bottle V8 - Reduced Salt 2 cups Water16 cups Beef Broth- Reduced Salt and Fat1 small Onion5 cups small cubes Turnips1 medium head Cabbage2 10 oz packages frozen Lima Beans1 10 oz package frozen Peas2 cans no salt added green beens Green BeansBlack Pepper (to taste) 8 oz Ground Beef Extra Lean
Brown meat, drain any excess fat and set aside.
Cut onions into small pieces. add onions and turnips to add to broth and cook until turnips easily fork like potatoes.
Add lima beans, peas, and V8 juice cook until lima beans are done to the fork. Add water, meat and cabbage. Simmer 30 minutes more.
Serving Size: serving approx 1 cup
