Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
1 lb lean hamburger browned and rinsed under hot water1 29 oz can of tomato sauce or puree, no salt added1 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes, I use basil, garlic & oregano style pureed1 oz tomato paste1 tsp pepper1 tbsp garlic powder1 tbsp dried thyme1 tbsp dried sweet basil1/2 cup red wine (optional)
Directions
Brown ground beef in a seperate pan, strain then rinse under hot water to remove more of the fat. Put meat into dutch oven (or large stew pan) and add in the remaing ingredients, bring to a boil, cover and reduce to a simmer for about an hour. Stir frequently. I eat mine over spaghetti squash or GF rice noodles.

You can start the red sauce while the meat is browning.
