0.75 cup, chopped Onions, raw 0.50 cup, chopped Green Peppers (bell peppers) 0.75 cup, chopped or sliced Red Ripe Tomatoes 3 tbsp Cilantro, raw 5 fruit without skin and seeds Avocados, California (Haas) 1 pepper Jalapeno Peppers 1 lime yields Lime Juice 2 clove Garlic 0.5 tsp Salt
Mash avocado in bowl with lime juice - leave lumps! You don't want this pureed or smooth.
Add the chopped veg (tomato, green pepper, jalapeno, garlic, red onion, cilantro) and salt.
Stir to combine. Let sit for about an hour at room temp for flavours to blend.
Try it with brown rice crisps as an alternative to fried tortilla chips.
Serving Size: Makes about 4 cups (per tbsp nutrition)
