Green Chile Stew

Ingredients
Ground beef or turkey or neither for vegetarian soup,Chicken or vegetable stockroasted green chilespotatoes and other vegetables if desiredsalt, cumin, and garlic powder to tasteGround Flax (optional)
Directions
Season ground beef or turkey with garlic, salt and cumin, brown in soup pot, cut pototoes into bite size pieces, after beef or turkey is browned, add green chile and stir, continue heating on medium heat till chile is heated, add potatoes and chicken stock, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for up to an hour stirring occasionally and adding water or stock if necessary. Add Flax after the water/broth before bringin to boil
