Ingredients
Directions
Bread-Publix Crusty White Baguette (1/4 loaf) or small diameter chewy french baguette5-6 Cherry Tomatoes, multi color if possible Garlic, 2 clove or 1 tsp jar garlic Fresh Basil, 5-6 leaves Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
Topping:
Chop tomatoes into small tidbets.
Chop or shred fresh basil
Mince garlic (you can use jar minced garlic if you are in a hurry)
Place ingredients in bowl and stir. drizzle olive over top and stir again.
Crostini:
Slice the baguette into 1/4" rounds. The key is to slice very thin, so the crostini will be easy to eat.
If you have a Mister Misto, which sprays olive oil with just a pump of pressure, it rocks! If not, you can either brush olive oil or use canned pressurized olive oil
Spray one side of each round of bread.
Toast lightly in a toaster oven until the bread is crispy but not ultra hard.
Top with a spoonful of salsa. EAT!
Serving Size: Makes 2 servings, about 4 pieces each
