The Italian Casserole

Ingredients
1.25 lb ground beef1 med onion, choppedgarlic powder1 can tomato sauce1 can tomato paste3/4 c water2 c noodles8 oz cream cheese, cube3/4 skim milk1/3 c light sour cream3/4 c grated Parmesan (divided)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Spray non-stick cooking spray in a 2 qt casserole.

Brown ground beef with onion, adding salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Drain well.

Add tomato sauce and tomato paste with water. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions, and drain well.

Place cream cheese and skim milk in microwave safe bowl and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring every minute. When cream cheese is mostly melted, stir with a whisk til thick and blended. Add sour cream and 1/2 c Parmesan and stir into noodles.

Pour sauce over noodles and stir well. Pour noodles and sauce into bottom of casserole. Pour beef mixture over noodles. Top with remaining 1/4 c Parmesan and bake for 20-30 minutes til bubbly.
