1 T brown sugar2 T honey1/4 c. soy sauce2 tsp. chopped fresh ginger root2 tsp. chopped garlic1-2 T hot saucesalt & pepper to taste4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves cut into 1/2" strips1 T vegetable oil
1. Mix together brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and hot sauce in a small bowl.
2. Lightly salt & pepper the chicken strips.
3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips and brown on both sides about 1 minute per side. Pour the sauce over the chicken. Simmer uncovered until sauce thickens, about 8-10 minutes.
Approx. 4 servings.

Excellent! I didn't use salt or pepper & omitted the ginger because we don't care for it. I also used olive oil because that's all I had. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe! (when 2x recipe, don't double soy sauce. It becomes too salty) try using 7 or 8 T tab. but increase sweet cuz 2 salty - 9/21/14

This was really good! I didn't add the hot sauce and only put a sprinkle of powdered ginger to suit my family and also tossed in some frozen brocolli and a can of sliced mushrooms, since that was all I had on hand and it came out great! Next time I will have to try the cornstarch to thicken. - 6/9/10

This was fabulous! I've made it twice now and my family loves it! The first time I made it with pork tenderloin chunks - to die for! The second time I used chicken - Just as yummy. I added water chestnuts, red and yellow bell peppers and sugar snap peas to it. powdered Ginger works fine too. - 6/19/08
